Each year, we like to honor our graduating Seniors with a slideshow presentation, prayer over the seniors, and a special sermon by Pastor Steve Wick, who leads the Senior High Student Ministries.
We need help from the seniors and their parents in order to accomplish this service. Please start looking through your family photos now, before the craziness of graduation is upon us.
What we need from each family with a senior student:
1. 15 pictures of your student’s life phases from birth – now, photos that show who they are! Include 2 grad photos. Please put them in chronological order. If possible, put #’s on the back of the photos (if not emailed). We will be putting together a slideshow. Emailed photos are preferred, but all are accepted. Please have appropriate photos that would be acceptable for all eyes. All photos must be submitted by Sunday, May 7th or we cannot guarantee that they will be included in the slideshow.
2. We will put your student’s favorite Bible verse on the slideshow. After they have chosen a verse, please email or leave a note of the verse with your photos by May 7th.
3. We will have a brief prayer time for the seniors on May 21st. Please have your student ask an adult from GREFC who’s been a mentor or role model to them and see if they’d be willing to pray for your student that day. Make sure they aren’t already praying for another senior. Let us know who they choose so we can follow up with them!
Welcome. We’re so glad you’re here. We are a Christian church in Grand Rapids, MN. Everyone here is like you. We have joy, we have fears that keep us up at night, we experience pain, we face challenges, and we’re all searching for love. We don’t have all the answers. But we do know someone who has the answers we’re all seeking and we do know how our story ends. If you would like that for yourself, then walk through this site and learn more about us. Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back often.
Living On Mission
1 Peter 2:9 through 3:16 talks about living in a hostile world and living your daily lives as though you are missionaries in a foreign land. That is the basis for our community groups.
