This summer we are launching our first ever online Bible study! Hang at home in your pjs, with your kids at the park, on the boat, or wherever summer takes you.
We’ll kick off on Monday, June 4 with a viewing of the movie War Room at Kristen Panchyshyn’s home. Kristen will then explain to everyone how to access WebEx, an online meeting program.
The War Room Bible Study will kick off two weeks after that on June 18. Participants will log on at 6:30 pm from wherever they have an internet connection and proceed with the study led by Kristen. It will be every other Monday, after that.
We hope you’ll join us for this new adventure!
Here’s more information about the War Room Bible Study:
In the movie WAR ROOM, Tony and Elizabeth Jordan are typical churchgoers who have become complacent and, even hostile, toward God. Through this 5-session Bible study, believers will be called to evaluate their spiritual life and growth, to uncover their true character, to trust in the God of grace, declare victory over their true Enemy, and discover that prayer really is a powerful weapon.
Designed to be used together with the DVD Bible Study, this member book contains five lessons that can be used for group or personal Bible study. Each lesson contains four elements: Introduction, Movie Clip Discussion, Engage Lesson, and the Devotional Homework consisting of three daysof personal study. Each group session takes 45 to 60 minutes.
Welcome. We’re so glad you’re here. We are a Christian church in Grand Rapids, MN. Everyone here is like you. We have joy, we have fears that keep us up at night, we experience pain, we face challenges, and we’re all searching for love. We don’t have all the answers. But we do know someone who has the answers we’re all seeking and we do know how our story ends. If you would like that for yourself, then walk through this site and learn more about us. Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back often.
Living On Mission
1 Peter 2:9 through 3:16 talks about living in a hostile world and living your daily lives as though you are missionaries in a foreign land. That is the basis for our community groups.
