Parents Afternoon Out

Parents, we’ve got your back. Whether you need an afternoon to do some Christmas shopping, gift wrapping, or just a few hours wandering around Target alone, Kids Ministry wants to gift you with a free afternoon WITHOUT your precious little ones in tow.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • It’s Free! We’ll have Youth Group teens and Kid Min Counselors on hand to care for your children here at the church while you’re gone. This is a way for our teens to serve families.
  • Registration is required by December 5. We will have a short registration form for this event. You can pick up a paper registration form at the Welcome Center starting November 9th or fill out the form below. Return completed paper forms to the church office prior to checking the child(ren) in. Please email office@grefc.org if you are planning to bring paper forms and would like to register.
  • Open 1:00-5:00 pm. Drop your kids off at the front door (VBS-style) at 1:00 pm and pick them up anytime before 5:00 pm. Please be prompt at 5:00 pm for pick-up.
  • Open to ages 6-months to 12 years old.
  • Simple snacks will be available for your kids. You are also welcome to send along a labeled water bottle.

Parental Consent - Accident/Injury/Illness

In case of accident or serious illness, I request the church to contact me. If the church is unable to reach me, I authorize them to make whatever arrangements seem necessary. I understand that Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church does not provide any form of health or accident insurance should any injury/illness occur. I also agree that I will not obligate Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church staff, paid or volunteer, to pay any medical expenses related to such injury/illness. This form releases Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church and staff, paid and volunteer, from any liability.
