Women’s Disciple Maker’s Handbook Study Group
November 17 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until November 17, 2021
“If you are bored and find yourself reaching for something deeper and richer than attending church services or listening to podcasts or sitting through classes, you can give yourself permission to stop consuming religious good and services that won’t equip you to make disciples. We were created for more than this. Jesus invites you to get out of the boat and walk with him into the exhilarating and often unpredictable waters of disciple making.” ~Disciple Maker’s Handbook
Most Christians do not know how to make disciples and the vast majority of Christians report that they have never been personally discipled by a more mature follower of Jesus Christ. Is it any wonder so many of us struggle to follow Jesus as his disciples, much less disciple others to follow him?
This study points the way to becoming a Disciple Maker. If you’re ready to move your spiritual life to the next level by being equipped to be a disciple that makes disciples that make disciples, then join us for this small group study.
Group discussion will center around:
- Why many people who call themselves Christians are not actually disciples of Jesus
- A simple, clear picture of what it means to be a disciple and make disciples
- A practical model for disciple making that you could use right away
- The seven elements of disciple making taken from the life of Jesus
This study is the first step in becoming a leader of a mentoring relationship, a micro-group leader or a community group leader. After completion of The Disciple Maker’s Handbook, we highly encourage attenders to take the Groups Leader Training before starting a group or at the beginning of leading your group.
