Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Our Current Sermon Series

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we  explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

For the 2025 Advent season, we will be continuing in Acts, focusing on Chapters 8 & 9, highlighting God’s gift to humanity through stories of the spread of the Gospel beyond Jerusalem.

The Surrendered Life (Ecclesiastes 8)

Ecclesiastes: A Life Worth Living
  • Watch
  • Listen

Today we grapple with the idea that we, as humans, have no power, no control, and no knowledge over anything. We think we do, but history and the Bible shows us that we don't at all. Thankfully we don't have to know things or have power or control because we can trust in the One who does.

Scripture References: Ecclesiastes 8:1-17, Romans 13:1-5, Ephesians 6:10

From Series: "Ecclesiastes: A Life Worth Living"

Ecclesiastes starts with the words, “Meaningless! Meaningless!” to describe humanity’s life here on Earth. While we are not able to control everything in our lives nor fully grasp God’s plan, we are called to rely on the one who can. Ecclesiastes invites us to live with open hands and faithful hearts, finding joy not in what we control, but in who we know: a good, purposeful, loving and eternal God. Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
