Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Our Current Sermon Series

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we  explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

Join us as we spend the next year learning what God has to show us in the book of Acts, starting September 14th.

The Reverent Life (Ecclesiastes 5:1-7)

Ecclesiastes: A Life Worth Living

  • Listen

Join us as we continue our study of the book of Ecclesiastes. Elder Zac Preble leadd us through Ecclesiastes 5 verses 1-7 which focuses on true worship and reverence of God. The passage calls us to check out hearts and motivations. Are we simply consumers of what God gives us? Or do we seek to truly encounter God.

Scripture References: Ecclesiastes 5:1-7, 1 Samuel 15:22, Malachi 1:14, Matthew 6:7, Deuteronomy 23:23, Mark 12:41-44, Romans 12:1-2

Related Topics: Being Christian, Christian Living, Following Jesus, Holy Living, Intentionality, Knowing God, Knowing God, Motivations, Motives, Old Testament, Priorities, Responding to God, Spiritual Growth, Spiritual Maturity, Wisdom | More Messages from Zac Preble | Download Audio

From Series: "Ecclesiastes: A Life Worth Living"

Ecclesiastes starts with the words, “Meaningless! Meaningless!” to describe humanity’s life here on Earth. While we are not able to control everything in our lives nor fully grasp God’s plan, we are called to rely on the one who can. Ecclesiastes invites us to live with open hands and faithful hearts, finding joy not in what we control, but in who we know: a good, purposeful, loving and eternal God. Join us on June 8th as the Bible teaches us about A Life Worth Living!

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
