Children’s Ministry Open Leaders Meeting

We are exploring several possibilities for how to lead our Children’s Ministries next year. On Monday, May 6th we will be exploring having the entire ministry being led by volunteers.  We are hosting an open meeting for anyone interested in volunteering as a leader in one of these areas:

• Children’s Ministry Team Director
• Nursery Team Leader
• Pathfinders Team Leader (Sunday Mornings)
• Kid Groups Team Leader (Wednesday Evenings)
• Special Events Team Leader
• And possibly a Family Resources Team Leader

These Team Leaders would be responsible for leading their ministry area in submission to the pastors and elders. This would include recruiting & maintaining volunteers, reviewing and possibly selecting new curriculum, resourcing volunteers within their area, finding subs when necessary, and, of course, connecting with kids! The whole leadership team would also meet regularly with each other to share resources, ideas, vision, and prayer for one another.

We are inviting anyone who is interested in discussing this option to a meeting on Monday, May 6^th at 6:00 pm in the Pine Room. Please sign up at the Welcome Center or by calling the church office. If you are unable to make this meeting but are interested, please contact Pastor Micah or one of the elders PRIOR to this meeting. What we are able to determine at this meeting will greatly inform the Elders prayerful decision as to how God is guiding and providing for the Children’s Ministry of our church!
