The book of Ecclesiastes starts with the words, “Meaningless! Meaningless!” to describe humanity’s life here on Earth. While we are not able to control everything in our lives nor fully grasp God’s plan, we are called to rely on the one who can. Ecclesiastes invites us to live with open hands and faithful hearts, finding joy not in what we control, but in who we know: a good, purposeful, loving and eternal God.
