Our Current Sermon Series
The book of Ecclesiastes starts with the words, “Meaningless! Meaningless!” to describe humanity’s life here on Earth. While we are not able to control everything in our lives nor fully grasp God’s plan, we are called to rely on the one who can. Ecclesiastes invites us to live with open hands and faithful hearts, finding joy not in what we control, but in who we know: a good, purposeful, loving and eternal God. The Values Root the Mission in Christ
As we conclude the Core Values sermon series, it makes sense to see where it is all going. The reality is that our values feed into and create our Mission. Our Mission drives our Vision which uses our Strategy to accomplish it, leading to the 5 Marks of (Spiritual) Maturity, that we've spoke of before. And this is all done, not as single individuals, but together, as the church.

Just as the roots of a massive tree create the foundation of and provide the life-giving force for the whole organism, a church’s core values undergird everything it does. Our values guide us as we seek to share the Gospel with a hurting world, as we make disciples who look more and more like Jesus, and as we bless and love others, growing the Kingdom of God in our community. We’ll hear from each of our Elders as they share what each of our Core Values mean to them.
