Our Current Sermon Series
While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

Simeon was a common man of deep faith who was confidently waiting for God to bring the Messiah as He had promised. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, are we waiting in expectation and reaching out for God's gift of salvation?

A Want or a Need?
Before the angel visited Mary to tell her about being the mom of Jesus, what do you think she was wanting for her life? It probably didn't include getting pregnant before being married. However, Mary's response was acceptance to God's will for her life. We can learn a lot from Mary's attitude toward what God wanted for her life and her open-handed response to Him.
