Our Next Sermon Series
This April, we at Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church celebrate our 40th anniversary as a church. But what does it mean to be a part of a “church”? And why would God even create “the church” in the first place? Come join us as we study the Letter of Colossians to explore these questions and more, learning and living out together what it means to be His church, fully alive in Christ now and forever!
Current Sermon Series
Through our study of the book of Matthew in 2023, we’ve come face to face with King Jesus. We’ve been challenged to follow Him. Challenged to Believe Him. But now as we launch into 2024 and, as the book of Matthew turns again to its final section, we each must face one final challenge in the ultimate question: Will you love King Jesus? Please, join us as we witness and respond together to our Savior King in His Passion, His death, and His resurrection!

The Song of the Bride
Scripture References: Revelation 19:1-10, Ephesians 5:25-32, Revelation 1:1-3
From Series: "Christmas Songs: The Scriptures Sing of the Son"
Whether you love them or despise them, Christmas Songs are a concrete part of the “Christmas Season” in our culture. From radio stations to musical toys to Christmas specials and movies, Christmas music saturates the Christmas season. But even more than just in our modern age, the reality is that for thousands of years Christians have written hymns, songs, and carols to celebrate Jesus’ arrival on earth. And even before that, God’s people had written songs- in the bible- that point His people to what would be fulfilled in Jesus Christ. This year, we will explore six of these biblical songs- contained outside the Psalms- and prayerfully discover new treasures and insights into what God has revealed and done in the arrival of His Son, Jesus Christ, at Christmas. So turn on your favorite Christmas playlist, grab some hot cocoa, and join us this Christmas season!
