Messages

Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Upcoming Sermon Series

Throughout the New Testament, the Psalms are referenced as a direct support for who Jesus Christ is, how the Old Testament anticipates His work, and what His crucifixion, death and resurrection means for each of us. This year, we will trace some of these references back to their sources in the Psalms together. Please join us as we seek to surrender ourselves fully to Jesus and connect with Him deeper through these Psalms this Easter Season!

Current Sermon Series

Sometimes in life, the hardest challenges we face are not just following God in the first place, but rather following Him for the long haul. It is not always easy to fully trust and surrender ourselves to God in every step on the long journey of faith. But God desires to walk with us, lead us, and to see His Kingdom built in us and through us. The book of Nehemiah continues on right where the book of Ezra left off: the people of God have been established back in Jerusalem again, have rebuilt the Temple of God, and have begun the hard process of restoration and sanctification with God. But the story is far from over. Join us for our study of Nehemiah in 2023 as we see God work with His restored people to build His kingdom- through great challenges and trials-  all pointing us to what life in the Kingdom of God truly means. Join us as we look to the King and His Kingdom together through Nehemiah in 2023.

Growing Deeper Through Prayer

Growing Deeper Through Prayer

The church in Ephesus was a healthy church with great leaders. Yet in Revelation we see a strong warning to this church and eventually the church died. Somewhere along the way, despite a once thriving church, they stopped their forward progress and instead slid into oblivion. This can also happen in individuals. God expects all of us, no matter where we are in our faith journey, to keep moving forward and growing a healthy root system. Pastor Ken Abramson walks us through three ways to keep moving into deeper relationship with God.

Calling yourself a Christian but not reading the Bible is a huge disconnect. The Word of God should not be sitting on our shelves gathering dust but, as Elder Matt Grose shows us, should be consistently read to help reveal God to us, transform us and equip us as we navigate life on earth.  Learn about God's power available to you through the Word of God.

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
