Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Our Current Sermon Series

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we  explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

Join us as we spend the next year learning what God has to show us in the book of Acts, starting September 14th.

Acts: The Living Witness of Jesus

The apostles come back from being on trial and the first thing they do is pray for God to be glorified. Would that be your first thing to pray for? We need to remember that God has a plan for reality and we, like the apostles in today's passage, need to set ourselves aside and seek out God's will, no matter what the consequences to ourselves may be.

Scripture References: Acts 4:23-27, Psalms 2:1-12, Luke 24:44-45, John 17:20-21, Titus 3:10-11, Galatians 5:15, Psalms 133:1-3, Ephesians 4:3, Galatians 3:28

Leaders, Followers and Unity

Leaders, Followers and Unity

What does it mean to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you've been called? Ephesians says that our leaders are gifts from Christ.  Leaders are not here to do all the work for you. They serve the body of Christ by equipping each of us to do the work of the Kingdom.  Our guest speaker Phill Hall teaches us our role as followers, of not only Jesus but of our church leaders. And when we follow well, it makes all the difference.

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
