Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Our Current Sermon Series

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we  explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

Surrender Your Affections

Surrender: Psalms for the Easter Season
  • Watch
  • Listen

This Palm Sunday highlights the many who were praising Jesus as he entered Jerusalem, laying palms before him him. They were praising him as their Messiah King but were they wanting him or what he could do for them? Our hearts are our motivation center. Whatever our hearts, or our affections, are set on is what is most important to us and ultimately determines who we are. Sadly, our hearts are generally more inclined to ourselves...our comfort, our beliefs, our time. But Jesus offers so much more for us that will ultimately be infinitely more satisfying to us than what we can offer ourselves.

Scripture References: Luke 19:28-40, Psalms 118:1-29, Zechariah 9:9, Matthew 21:1-46, Mark 11:1-33, John 12:1-50, 2 Corinthians 5:11-21

From Series: "Surrender: Psalms for the Easter Season"

Throughout the New Testament, the Psalms are referenced as a direct support for who Jesus Christ is, how the Old Testament anticipates His work, and what His crucifixion, death and resurrection means for each of us. This year, we will trace some of these references back to their sources in the Psalms together. Please join us as we seek to surrender ourselves fully to Jesus and connect with Him deeper through these Psalms this Easter Season!

The Capsized Ship

The Capsized Ship
  • Watch
  • Listen

Dr. Ron Frost, longtime friend of GREFC, Bible scholar and church historian shares with us about the upside down world in which we live. Our world, once sin entered the picture, has become a capsized ship. Those on the ship are jockeying for positions of importance, not realizing that they are on a doomed ship. When rescue comes they scoff at the notion that they need rescuing and instead work to get rid of the rescuer.

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
