Our Current Sermon Series
While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.
Join us as we spend the next year learning what God has to show us in the book of Acts, starting September 14th.

Prophetic Witnesses (Acts 2:14-41)
When God speaks through His people is it called prophesy. In today's sermon we learn about Peter's first sermon and the prophetic Word he had for the people listening.

The Announcement - How Prophecy Points to Jesus
From Genesis to the first chapter of Luke and John the Baptist, the Bible prophesies the coming of the Messiah. He was to be, and is, a light in the darkness. And light is good, brining hope and guidance. But the prophesies don't end there. The entire New Testament continues to point to Jesus. Even revelation points to His coming again. Now is the time to follow the Light!

From Series: "The Invitation of Advent"
The word Advent literally means “to arrive.” It is also the time each year in Christianity meant to draw our hearts to focus on what the arrival of Jesus really means in our lives. This year, at GREFC, we are aligning our Advent services with the traditional Sundays of Advent. We will be focusing in on Jesus’ birth story in Luke 1-2 and looking at how these six Sundays all display different perspectives on Jesus’ birth. But even more than that, through the lens of these six Sundays, we are going to look at how the entire biblical story- and the whole of human history- ultimately points us to this moment: the true invitation of the Advent of Jesus Christ. So, please, join us this Christmas season as we look to and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ together.
