Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Our Current Sermon Series

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we  explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

Faithful Witnesses (Acts 14:1-28)

Acts: The Living Witness of Jesus
  • Watch
  • Listen

Paul and Barnabas are on their first missionary journey together and face much opposition and hardship. Yet through it all, they persist in sharing the gospel and people are still drawn to faith in Jesus Christ. These two faithful servants then return to each place they had visited, appointing elders and encouraging the new believers. It is a great model for how we should evangelize!

Lord Let Your Kingdom Come

Nehemiah: The Lord Builds His Kingdom
  • Watch
  • Listen

God has something for each of us to do...a purpose for which he specifically designed us to do. In this sermon, we see how Nehemiah uses what God has given him to appraise the situation and devise a solution, then encourage others to work with him toward that solution. There is much to learn from Nehemiah about seeking to do things God's way with how He uniquely made each of us.

Scripture References: Nehemiah 2:9-20, Nehemiah 3:1-32

From Series: "Nehemiah: The Lord Builds His Kingdom"

Sometimes in life, the hardest challenges we face are not just following God in the first place, but rather following Him for the long haul. It is not always easy to fully trust and surrender ourselves to God in every step on the long journey of faith. But God desires to walk with us, lead us, and to see His Kingdom built in us and through us. The book of Nehemiah continues on right where the book of Ezra left off: the people of God have been established back in Jerusalem again, have rebuilt the Temple of God, and have begun the hard process of restoration and sanctification with God. But the story is far from over. Join us for our study of Nehemiah in 2023 as we see God work with His restored people to build His kingdom- through great challenges and trials- all pointing us to what life in the Kingdom of God truly means. Join us as we look to the King and His Kingdom together through Nehemiah in 2023.

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
