Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Our Current Sermon Series

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we  explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

For the 2025 Advent season, we will be continuing in Acts, focusing on Chapters 8 & 9, highlighting God’s gift to humanity through stories of the spread of the Gospel beyond Jerusalem.

Micah Labovitch - November 9, 2025

Convicted Witness (Acts 5:17-42)

Acts: The Living Witness of Jesus
  • Watch
  • Listen

Today's sermon challenges all believers to stand by their conviction that the Gospel is the world's greatest need. After an incredible miracle, the apostles are arrested yet again, and severely beaten for continuing to share the Gospel, yet they rejoice. Listen in to understand why.

Scripture References: Acts 5:17-42, 2 Corinthians 5:14-17

Micah Labovitch - November 20, 2022

A Leader of the Covenant Between God and Man

Ezra: The Lord Restores His People
  • Watch
  • Listen

Breaking faith has consequences. The sins of the people affect the corporate whole, which is why, though God's first choice would never be to separate married people, a greater evil was at stake if they remained with the women of foreign people - literally the same nations that God warned against in the book of Deuteronomy - namely that God's chosen people would be lured by their wives to worship other detestable gods, thus breaking God's first and most important commandment.

Scripture References: Ezra 10:1-44, Jeremiah 24:4, Malachi 2:10-16, Hebrews 10:1-4, Hebrews 10:11-14, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

From Series: "Ezra: The Lord Restores His People"

For seventy years in exile and captivity, the people of God were chastised and broken. Having ignored hundreds of years of warnings from His prophets, God finally allowed Jerusalem to be destroyed and a remnant to be taken to Babylon. His people were devastated, distraught, and disciplined. But then, the call for restoration came. We have all been there. The Lord has allowed us to face the consequences of our choices, and sometimes they have been severe. But then, by the grace of God, the call of restoration comes. This is where the book of Ezra begins. Join us as we study Ezra together this fall, looking at the restoration of God’s people, and how it all ultimately points to the final restoration His people will have in Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
