Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Our Current Sermon Series

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we  explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

Confronting Witnesses (Acts 7:1-8:3)

Acts: The Living Witness of Jesus
  • Watch
  • Listen

The story of the first martyr of the church, Stephen, tells of a brave believer who tries to get his people to recognize that the Messiah that they've all been waiting for has come. The outcome is a death in the manner of Jesus - asking the Lord to forgive them.

Scripture References: Acts 7:1-60, Acts 8:1-3, Amos 5:18-27, Isaiah 66:1-6, Daniel 7:13-18

Micah Labovitch - August 28, 2022

Continuing Firmly in the Lord

How Will You Endure for our Lord?
  • Watch
  • Listen

Many people focus too heavily on when Jesus is coming again when we should really be focused on bring prepared when He comes. From being on the lookout for dangerous imposters, to being equipped in the Word of God and then using it to equip others, we need to continue to be fixated on Jesus Himself, day by day.

Scripture References: 2 Timothy 3:14-17

From Series: "How Will You Endure for our Lord? "

Jesus said, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples…,” but how do we do that? How do we stay fixed on Jesus and His Word, no matter the circumstance or struggle? How do we endure in our relationship with Him, no matter what? In 2 nd Timothy, Paul’s “Swan Song” to his spiritual son, we see Paul’s reflections as he faces the end of his life on earth. He wrestles with the two questions: Did he serve the faith and endure in his relationship with God well? And now, how can he help others do the same? Join us in 2 Timothy as we explore this together, letting God ask the question, “How Will You Endure For Our Lord?”

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
