The Song of Mary
In the story of Jesus' birth we get a glimpse into the character of his mother, Mary. From the song that she sang as listed in the Gospel of Luke, we learn that she is not only a pure and innocent virgin, but that she was humble, had great faith, was obedient, believed that God could do anything, and though she had nothing to offer, God greatly blessed her and she rejoiced with gratitude. When God breaks through in our lives, may we be like Mary.
