Dr. Ron Frost, longtime friend of GREFC, Bible scholar and church historian shares with us about the upside down world in which we live. Our world, once sin entered the picture, has become a capsized ship. Those on the ship are jockeying for positions of importance, not realizing that they are on a doomed ship. When rescue comes they scoff at the notion that they need rescuing and instead work to get rid of the rescuer.

Today we finish up the “Rooted in Christ, Living in a New World” sermon series as we explore the last three pieces of armor we are to use against Satan.

The apostle Paul wants the church in Ephesus, and us, to not have a wobbly faith but to stand firm and be strong. We are to prepare as though going into battle, and putting on the armor of God so that we can be strong in the Lord.

The Bible states over and over again that Satan is real and we are to be ready and armed to face him. This sermon will focus on why we should be alert to the evil that is loose in this world.

The book of Ephesians helps us to make all of life Christ-centered and our work is no exception. The reality is that our work matters, especially when we make it a testimony to our Savior! Join in and learn a new perspective about working, whether you are the employee or the employer.

Parenting is important to God for a reason. Parenting shape the heart attitudes of children, enabling them to grow up to know and love God. Parents are to train and discipline the whole person of their children.

As parents, our children are watching us very closely and basing their beliefs about God from us. Our goal then should be our own Godliness. We should strive to parent our children like God parents us.

In Paul’s letter to the Ephesian church, he laid out expectations as to how husbands and wives should relate to one another with the goal of marriage to highlight the relationship between Christ and the church.

God calls us to be Holy in our day to day living. We can only do this through the power of the Holy Spirit, filling us with the fullness of God. (We’re sorry, there is no audio download of this sermon.)

In this portion of the letter to the Ephesians, Paul exhorts us to walk, to live, as children of light. This means in our daily living we are to spread goodness, love and truth rather than spending our time in unfruitful living. We are to replace wasting time with the Will of God.
