Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Our Current Sermon Series

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we  explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

Join us as we spend the next year learning what God has to show us in the book of Acts, starting September 14th.

The Satisfied Life (Ecclesiastes 5:8-6:12)

Ecclesiastes: A Life Worth Living
  • Watch
  • Listen

Today's sermon calls us to enjoy all that God has given each of us. We should expect that this world will let us down, because we were never meant to find what we truly need in the world, but only in God Himself.

Scripture References: Ecclesiastes 5:8-20, Ecclesiastes 6:1-12, Ecclesiastes 2:26, Matthew 6:25-26, Philippians 3:7-10, Philippians 4:11, Ecclesiastes 3:14, Luke 9:23

From Series: "Ecclesiastes: A Life Worth Living"

Ecclesiastes starts with the words, “Meaningless! Meaningless!” to describe humanity’s life here on Earth. While we are not able to control everything in our lives nor fully grasp God’s plan, we are called to rely on the one who can. Ecclesiastes invites us to live with open hands and faithful hearts, finding joy not in what we control, but in who we know: a good, purposeful, loving and eternal God. Join us on June 8th as the Bible teaches us about A Life Worth Living!

Micah Labovitch - March 17, 2024

King Jesus: Condemned and Innocent

The Gospel of Matthew: Will You Love King Jesus?
  • Watch
  • Listen

Proclaiming your innocence among others does not equal repentance or true surrender before God and does not absolve you of all guilt. As Jesus is on trial before Pilot, every other player in the story, though claiming innocence, is guilty. The silent Jesus is the only one who is truly innocent.

Scripture References: Matthew 27:1-26, Jeremiah 19:1-15, Acts 2:39

From Series: "The Gospel of Matthew: Will You Love King Jesus?"

Through our study of the book of Matthew in 2023, we’ve come face to face with King Jesus. We’ve been challenged to follow Him. Challenged to Believe Him. But now as we launch into 2024 and, as the book of Matthew turns again to its final section, we each must face one final challenge in the ultimate question: Will you love King Jesus? Please, join us as we witness and respond together to our Savior King in His Passion, His death, and His resurrection!

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
