God gives us gifts to draw us to Him. And many times the gift for someone else, is you. In today's message we hear how the Gospel is spread further and further, through kind acts of simple followers ready and able to simply talk about Jesus. God calls us to reach people because HE is reaching people and wants to use us to do it.

While history has traditionally seen Acts simply as stories about the Apostles – we now see the book is so much more. It is certainly an account of the eleven disciples after Jesus is raised from the dead, but even more so, it is an account of the early Christians: an account of the Holy spirit, an account of the early church, and most significantly, the account of the continued work of Jesus Christ and God Himself, bringing His living witness to the ends of the Earth through His people. So, come join us this year as we explore how the Gospel of Christ first changed the world, and as we ourselves learn what it means to let that same gospel change our lives and our world, even today.

Again in today's scripture Jesus tells his disciples what is going to happen to him and they miss it. They are more concerned with themselves than with what will happen to Jesus. So when they agree that they can fully follow Him in all that he does, they don't understand what that really means. Let us not be that way!
