Messages

Welcome to our messages page, where you can hear relevant, encouraging and thought provoking teaching from the truths of the Bible.

Current Sermon Series

Throughout the New Testament, the Psalms are referenced as a direct support for who Jesus Christ is, how the Old Testament anticipates His work, and what His crucifixion, death and resurrection means for each of us. This year, we will trace some of these references back to their sources in the Psalms together. Please join us as we seek to surrender ourselves fully to Jesus and connect with Him deeper through these Psalms this Easter Season!

Getting in the Boat

Getting in the Boat

In this final sermon of the series, Pastor Ken Abramson defines two groups of people based on Mark 6 where the disciples are rowing across the lake when Jesus joins them. After the miracle of feeding the 5,000, it was evident that there was the crowd, who followed Jesus for the benefits but went home each night. Then there were the disciples who obeyed Jesus, even when he told them to row into a strong headwind in the middle of the night. Which kind of follower are you?

Our Vision

Faith is a Journey

You never really “arrive” at becoming a mature disciple maker. We are all called to continually grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, to grow in love for others, to get better at blessing those around us and to increasingly share the love of Jesus with everyone. At GREFC we realize this through four key areas: Connect, Equip, Serve & Go!
